Independent padel racket reviews for UK players. No brand deals. No free rackets in exchange for positive write-ups. Just honest scores.
PadelRate is a UK-based padel racket review site run by players, for players. We test and rate rackets based on real-world court performance so you can make a smarter buying decision — whether you are just picking up a racket for the first time or looking to upgrade as a competitive club player.
We cover every major brand available in the UK market: Bullpadel, Head, NOX, Babolat, Adidas, Wilson, Oxdog, Dunlop, Ryze, Raquex and more. Every racket on the site has been individually assessed and scored across three performance dimensions.
We are not affiliated with any manufacturer, retailer, or brand. Our only goal is to give you the most accurate and useful racket information available online.
Every racket receives an overall score out of 100, derived from three individual category scores. Each category is assessed independently and weighted to reflect what matters most in a real match.
Scores also account for frame materials, core type, shape, balance point, weight, and value for money at each price point. A racket scoring 80 in the budget bracket is assessed differently to one scoring 80 in the premium bracket — context matters.
Our scores are intended to be comparative, not absolute. A score of 94 for the Bullpadel Hack 03 Hybrid means it is one of the best club-level rackets we have reviewed — not that it plays identically to a professional's equipment. Use scores to compare rackets within a level category.
We have no commercial relationships with any racket manufacturer. No sponsored content, no paid placements, no brand ambassadorships.
We do not accept free equipment in exchange for reviews. Every racket we assess is evaluated on its merits alone.
Every racket is scored against the same three-category framework. There is no shifting the goalposts based on brand or price.
We write for UK players. All prices are in GBP, all links point to UK retailers, and availability is checked against the UK market.
Some links on PadelRate are affiliate links. This means that if you click through to a retailer and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate commissions help cover the costs of running and maintaining this site, which keeps it free to use. They do not influence our ratings, scores, or recommendations in any way. We only recommend rackets we genuinely rate — and rackets we score poorly remain on the site with their honest scores, regardless of whether they carry an affiliate link.
Where a racket does not have an affiliate link available, we link to Google Shopping or the brand's own page instead. Our goal is always to get you to the right product at a fair price.
