The Air Viper is what happens when you take the Viper's attacking DNA and put it in a lighter, more manoeuvrable frame. At 355g with an even balance, it moves through the air faster than the 370g Viper flagship — crucial for quick exchanges at the net and defensive recovery between shots.
The 16K Carbon face is the standout: a finer carbon weave than the 3K used on the standard Viper, which gives a more responsive feel without losing power. The teardrop shape puts the sweet spot slightly higher than centre, adding natural power on drives and smashes while remaining considerably more forgiving than a diamond. The Vibrabsorb System, Holes Pattern System and 3D Spin+ surface all carry over from the wider Viper range, giving consistent grip and vibration control across the line.
The X-EVA core provides better comfort than the Hard EVA used in the standard Viper, making this a more sustainable racket across long matches. It is a genuine step down in physical demand from the diamond Vipers without giving up much in the way of attacking capability.
