The Technical Viper Soft 3.0 swaps the standard Viper's Hard EVA and 3K Carbon for softer materials, trading a little explosiveness for genuine arm comfort. It still delivers real diamond power at £70 below the standard Technical Viper 3.0.
The "Soft" in the name isn't marketing fluff — you can genuinely feel the difference. Where the standard Technical Viper 3.0 uses Hard EVA and 3K Carbon for maximum explosiveness, the Soft version swaps in Soft Carbon and Black EVA. The result is a diamond that doesn't punish your arm on every off-centre hit.
Power is still there — it's a diamond with a head-heavy balance, after all — but the delivery is smoother. The Comfort Power Layer in the core replaces the Carbon Power Layer found in the standard Viper, prioritising feel over raw explosiveness, while the Vibrabsorb System and 3D Spin+ surface carry over from the wider Viper range.
