Vertex 05 (2025)

The Vertex range has been one of Bullpadel's most consistent performers for years, and the 05 version refines what was already an excellent formula. It occupies a sweet spot in the market: advanced enough to satisfy experienced players who demand performance, but not so uncompromising that it becomes a liability when things get difficult in a match.

Like the Hack 03 Hybrid, the Vertex 05 uses a carbon fibre frame with Multieva HR foam, but the construction tuning is slightly different. The Vertex 05 has been dialled back marginally in terms of pure stiffness, which gives it a fractionally more forgiving feel on off-centre contacts. For advanced players who are not quite at the elite level, this extra margin can make a real difference over the course of a match.

The diamond shape still delivers serious firepower. Overhead smashes feel loaded and powerful, and drives from the back of the court carry genuine pace. Where the Vertex 05 differentiates itself from pure attacking diamonds is in its control response. The frame geometry and core combination give you enough dwell time on the ball to redirect with accuracy, which is critical in the fast-paced exchanges at advanced club level.

Balance sits on the higher end, which keeps the aggressive character intact, but the 360g weight compared to some heavier diamonds means it is slightly easier to recover quickly between shots. Players who want to use the Vertex 05 as an all-court weapon rather than a pure back-court attacker will find it more accommodating than some of its rivals.

For the price, the Vertex 05 represents excellent value within the advanced segment. You are getting a genuine high-performance racket with Bullpadel's premium build quality for less than the flagship models from most competing brands. If the Hack 03 Hybrid is slightly out of budget, this is the natural alternative from the same manufacturer.
