Verdict

The Raquex Eclipse is a UK-designed, full-carbon padel racket that impresses with its build quality and control-focused performance. Its round shape, mid-balance and ImpactCore EVA foam make it an excellent choice for beginners progressing towards the intermediate level.

Full Review

Raquex is a UK-based racket sports brand with a clear focus on producing better products rather than copying what already exists. The Eclipse is their beginner-to-intermediate entry, and it makes a strong impression from the moment you pick it up.

Full carbon fibre construction using their innovative Twin-Tube system — where two air pumps simultaneously inject air into the mould — ensures even carbon distribution throughout the frame. This results in better structural integrity and balance than single-tube systems, and at this price point it is a notable technical advantage.

The round head shape gives the Eclipse a large, forgiving sweet spot that suits players still building consistency. The mid-balance at 265mm keeps the racket quick and manoeuvrable, and the 38mm profile adds stability without making the frame feel cumbersome. The SpinTec textured surface adds grip and spin potential on every shot.

ImpactCore EVA 15 foam is the heart of the racket's character. Engineered by Raquex for optimal energy transfer and shock absorption, it delivers a crisp, controlled feel without being harsh on the arm. The result is excellent shot placement precision, which is exactly what developing players need.

At around £69, the Raquex Eclipse offers exceptional value. The UK design and backing, the full carbon construction and the thoughtful technology make it one of the best rackets available at this price. Players who prioritise control and placement over raw power will find it a superb partner.
